Modern Vehicle Insurance Fraud: Detection and Investigation Strategies Webinar

As technology in vehicles continues to evolve, the ways in which fraud may appear in auto insurance claims also change. But insurance professionals can leverage those same advances to address concerns that could emerge during their review process.
To stay aware of how event data recorders, infotainment systems, and other technological equipment influence claims validation and processing, attend Alpine Intel’s CE-eligible webinar, Modern Vehicle Insurance Fraud: Detection and Investigation Strategies.
Curtis Whitfill, VRC Investigations vice president of SIU compliance and CE programs, and Steven Tuskan, Mecanica senior forensic consultant, will lead the presentation. Curtis has more than 30 years of experience in the criminal investigation and claims management industry. Steven has spent more than four decades in the transportation industry, including roles with fleet operations, manufacturing, vehicle testing, accident investigation and reconstruction, and forensic consulting.
They will discuss what inconsistencies adjusters might notice that could warrant further scrutiny from an investigative partner, with an emphasis on using vehicular infotainment and telematics systems to validate claim details.
Other subjects will include:
- Identification of possible red flags that may raise questions in claims related to modern vehicles
- How technology and data analysis can help confirm potentially suspicious activity
